Cheap xy plotter. Not including the arduino this comes in at just over £15 in parts. The rack and pinion gears and mounts for the motors and pen are laser cut from 6mm thick plywood. The runners are ball bearing drawer runners. 3 stepper motors, 1 servo motor.

I'm intending to try this with better stepper motors at a later time.
